Tourism a means to achieve ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis’: Govt’s spokesperson Baskota

Pyuthan, April 15 : Spokesperson for the government and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota has emphasised tourism to achieve the country’s goal of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis’. “The government finds out agriculture, tourism and energy as the backbone to prosper the country. he said speaking at the Gaumukhi media conference organised here on Monday jointly by the Federation of Nepali Journalists and Gaumukhi rural municipality. The government was working on the construction of international airports and fast track roads, expanding road networks and

railways, organic agricultural production, sustainable ecology conservation, home-stay services and promotion of rural entrepreneurship, he said. He also expressed the hope that the conference would help contributions to tourism area of the district.(RSS)
