Kavrepalanchowk, April 29 : Minister for Communications, Information and Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota has taken educational guardianship of two children deprived of education in Paanchkhal Municipality in Kavrepalanchwok district under the campaign Enrollment Campaign.
The Campaign was initiated by the government through a cabinet decision to eradicate illiteracy by bringing the children of school going age to school and retaining them there.Ward Chief of Paanchkhal Municiplaity-1, on the behalf of Minister Banskota, enrolled Pritam Tamang of Paanchkhal
Municiplaity-1 and Ward Chief of Paanchkhal Munciplaity-5 admitted Nishma Sunar of Paanchkhal Munciplaity-5 in grade 1.Tamang is an orphan while Sunar’s does not have father. The former was admitted in Gyaneshwori Secondary School in the locality while the latter in Janauddar Primary School in her locality.
Minister Banskota would ensure these children get education up to grade 12, it was shared. Minister Banskota could not attend the event owing to his busy schedule. On the occasion, ward no 1 Chair Asta Tamang said, “We have facilitated in the enrollment of the children in spite of the absence of Minister Banskota.”Last year minister Banskota had also taken patronage of Sujan Danuwat of Paanchkhal-12 for his education.
